AFGHANISTAN–WHO IS WINNING?

Mountain people are generally stronger and braver than people who live on the plains.

As children in the mountains, going anywhere is hard work. Gravity is constantly surrounding the growing child and he learns that going to the top of a mountain requires sweat and endurance.

Food is not plentiful in mountainous areas. There is a lot of stone in the ground and the streams of water are small and far apart. If you can picture yourself pushing a plow up a mountain, you will have an idea of what a farmer in Afghanistan does throughout his life.

Cattle are not big fat cows, but scrawny goats and sheep. Herding them makes both boys and girls stronger people than the T.V. watchers in the U.S. and Europe.

HISTORY

Afghanistan has been invaded by brainless leaders of England, Russia, the U.S., and other Middle Eastern countries for thousands of years.

The Afghans have developed a style of warfare that takes time, but like making a good stew, turns the invaders into a mushy sauce. In the last two centuries, it was the Brits, then the Russians and now, the Americans – with the African-American leader, Barrack Obama, sending in 30,000 troops at a time and spending hours on television explaining why he was doing this, in his second language, English. (His first language is Indonesian, which he learned as a child.)

Obama Speaking

There are other troops in Afghanistan, as well, because it is like a game of poker, if you play you might win a nice prize. And, only young kids die there. Their relatives and their politicians watch the scenes on their television screens, generally drinking a beer. It is almost like the World Cup.

As a former member of the U.S. Marines, I have to wonder how the American troops go up a hill carrying 160 lbs of junk on their back. We were taught to carry our rifle and cartridge belt in combat and that was all.

The junk that they are now carrying is making military purveyors of equipment and their lobbyists rich. And, it is killing the poor kids who must drag it around. (For those interested in combat, look at the videos of troops fighting in Vietnam or the Second World War and compare them with videos of Americans fighting in Afghanistan.)

US troops

This is a prime example of why the U.S. and their cronies, the Brits, will ultimately lose this war. They are losing it now, as we see one American general after another quit in disgust. The Russians lasted 10 years, and they are on the Northern frontier.

The Americans are losing on the Home Front as their economy and the British Economy meet up with reality of: When the Public is in poverty there is nothing left to steal.

Who will pay for the bombs, bullets and battalions of soldiers? Definitely not the International Monetary Fund.

WHO IS WINNING?

God’s people. Who else wins?
