If you’re going to steal money with finesse you need help from friends and family. This group of thieves prefers to be called a Team, not a Gang.
Since Bernie Madoff is in jail, he doesn’t eat with the other prisoners. His meals are delivered to his jail cell and served by the Butler.
Why not?
Bernie worked hard to get in that fancy jail cell.

Fairfield Greenwich Group, believed to be the largest feeder of investor funds to Bernard Madoff, was accused by a court-appointed trustee of having “actual and constructive knowledge” of the multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme.
An amended complaint late Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York is a new push by trustee Irving Picard to recover assets for victims of Mr. Madoff, whose firm took in nearly $7 billion from Fairfield Greenwich.
Mr. Picard says 19 people and 25 affiliates of the firm actively participated with Mr. Madoff’s scheme to mislead investors and ignored signs of the fraud to enrich themselves.
Madoff and his Team were simply trying to improve the unemployment problem.
