BREAK-UP OF EUROPE – AN EXCELLENT IDEA
I am one of millions of Europeans who are called EURO-SKEPTICS and who have been against the idea of an European Union and a common European Currency, the Euro, since day one.
We, Euro-Skeptics saw the consolidation of the Common Market for what it has turned out to be — a rip-off of the average European in favor of big business. Big European corporations, big banks and big capitalists hiding in London behind old family names, wanted 500 million slaves to work for them forever.
Why were hundred of millions of Euros spent on propaganda to convince the Europeans to give up their traditions and their currencies to form a bigger government and a common currency? Obviously, this was seed money for major profits in the future.
Unfortunately, Europeans are just as stupid, greedy and lazy as any other group of people on the planet. They bit: Hook, line and sinker.
The smart Europeans, the Swiss and Norwegians said NO! Their economies are excellent today. Also, the tiny countries: Liechtenstein, Andorra, San Marino and Malta also said NO! and their economies are doing well.
Today, the idiots of the big countries who jumped right in are struggling to stay alive. Most are in a severe recession and the others have banks choking on bonds that are worthless. All are deluged with “refugees” seeking economic benefits and refusing to go back to their poor countries.
The only large country that has kept it Ethnic Identity is Russia, which was never invited into the Common Market. The other countries that have kept their ethnic identity are the Eastern European countries of Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and Hungary. These smaller Eastern Countries will survive and grow.
The rest of Europe is destroyed or being destroyed.
CAPITAL ECONOMICS
An economic study group in London, Capital Economics, is voicing the contradictory view of the Euro skeptics by saying that a break-up of the EU would be a good thing!
July 11 (Bloomberg) — The breakup of the euro area would save the 16-nation region from years of economic stagnation by boosting weaker members’ competitiveness as well as domestic demand in Germany to spark growth, Capital Economics said.
“The threatened breakup of the euro zone, which many see as a potential disaster, would actually open the door to renewed economic growth, not just for weaker members of the zone, but for Europe as a whole,” Capital Economics analysts including Roger Bootle in London said in a report released today.
A return to the original currencies
Greece’s debt crisis has driven down the euro and forced governments from Spain to Italy to embrace austerity measures and cut their deficits, clouding the outlook for recovery from the worst recession in six decades. The International Monetary Fund on July 8 kept its forecast for 1 percent growth this year in the region, which expanded 0.2 percent in the first quarter.
Europe’s weaker economies face “years of economic pain” as they deflate costs and prices to regain competitiveness with Germany, which runs a large trade surplus and restrains domestic demand, Capital Economics said.
Italy, Spain, Ireland, Portugal and Greece could quickly narrow the competitiveness gap if they returned to their own currencies, which would depreciate and allow exports to expand, it said.
AND, it would help Germany win back the Deutsche Mark
A full abandonment of the euro would also help Germany as a restored deutsche mark would appreciate and make the government expand domestic demand to maintain jobs and growth, pushing up the German standard of living, according to the report. That, in turn, would further fuel imports from euro countries, helping to rebalance Europe’s economy.
WHY THIS SUDDEN ENTHUSIASM?
Being a born skeptic I have to wonder why this group is suddenly calling for a break-up.
The EU and the EURO? Where have they been for the last 15 years? Or, are they simply a front for the banks and big business, who know they have already lost trillions and want to stop the bleeding?
WHAT WILL THE CRETINI SAY?
The idiots of Europe, drinking their beer or wine and watching their T.V. sets will probably not like having to use a different currency and actually have to stop at borders again, but they are sheep and will do what they are told to do.
I have to pity the immigrants. They may have to go home – a home that no longer exists.
