CAN POLITICS PRODUCE WEALTH?
Throughout the second half of the 20th Century, the West became the wealthiest area of the world.
The political schema of the West was:
FREE MARKET CAPITALISM
Russia, during this period of time was communistic under a system of states called: USSR. China and Vietnam were communistic. All these communistic areas were desperately poor during the same period that the West was dramatically rich.
Today, however, the reverse exists. The West is in serious decline and within one decade will be desperately poor, while Russia and Asia are in the ascendency and are rapidly becoming rich!
HOW CAN WE HAVE SUCH CONFLICTING RESULTS WITH THE SAME POLITICAL SYSTEMS?
The results lie in the way in which societies deal with wealth.
A simple reflection tells us that there is enough wealth in the world, for all of mankind to live extremely well in terms of material well being, with perhaps one quarter of the time that we spend traditionally at our jobs.
Throughout recorded history, workers have used their working hours making “monuments” for their rulers.
In Ancient Egypt, millions of workers toiled daily, in extreme poverty, to make piles of stones called “Pyramids.” If they had used these same hours for their own benefit, they would have led an opulent life. The Romans built buildings, aqueducts and all sorts of governmental objects, but had little for themselves.
Everywhere and throughout all time, we see the same thing: workers are always making non- utilitarian objects for their rulers.
In those few small countries, such as, Switzerland, the Scandinavian countries, Luxembourg and Singapore, where the wealth of the worker is kept, in the main, by the worker, those workers live extremely well and do not work excessively hard.
What do the workers of these small countries have, that is lacking in the larger countries?
TWO THINGS
A very small country, where the people know the rulers and can control them. However, not all small countries control their rulers.
Another characteristic is needed.
INTELLIGENCE
The people of the Scandinavian countries and Switzerland, (all of whom are closely related genetically) are smart enough to know that rulers display all the evil elements of mankind known elsewhere on the planet.
Thus, in Switzerland, for example, the people vote on all serious questions through referenda where the entire nation voices its opinion.
Almost always, the opinion of the people is contrary to the opinion of the government.
SUMMARY
In order to allow the workers’ production to flow back to the worker and not to the government, which is invariably corrupt, one needs two things:
A tiny country. The bigger the country the more influence the government has on the media and hence the beliefs of the citizens.
An intelligent citizenry.
Unfortunately, the world, as we find it today, is extremely unintelligent.
And, as we see which type of citizen is reproducing the most, the world is moving towards a much lower level of intelligence.
Perhaps, as we move back towards the primitive life a new genetic force will keep us all on the level of the other species and the planet will become peaceful once again.
