Bank of America has started it. “Only $5.00 a month. I can handle that…” But, try $.99 cents every time you swipe your card. Can you handle that?

Like the mycelium (see article on Banks and Mushrooms) that lies in the earth and sprouts up mushrooms, the Financial Mycelium is everywhere.
Have you ever asked yourself why you receive so many Plastic Gold Cards in the mail? Do you still use cash and coins? Unlikely. Those few people using cash are diminishing in numbers across the world.
Today, you have three to five pieces of plastic in your wallet or pocket book. Very little cash. You also have a cell phone from which you can watch your bank account.
You, dear reader, are being invaded by the Financial Mycelium.
Within this next decade (that is ten years) you will not be able to make a purchase without using your bank as an indispensable intermediary. Paper money is going out the window.
If you do not have plastic and do not pay the $.99 fee you will starve. And, of course, all your political representatives will say: “This is the best way! It is safer and it helps create jobs!”
In the long run, the Financial Mycelium will do away with the obesity problem.
