NOT ALL PROTEIN IS CREATED EQUAL…
The HIGH PROTEIN DIET is on its way People are looking into their science books and beginning to realize that you can lose weight two ways:
1. Cut calories and kill your cells.
2. Cut calories and save your cells.
Either way, you lose weight.
In Number 1. You do not replace the protein of your cells. You allow those cells to die. The cells die and you look and become older physiologically. You develop wrinkles, small muscles, small organs and weakness.
You are skinny, but who cares.
In Number 2. You replace the protein that is needed by your cells. The cells do not die. You do not look older and you do not become weaker. You are thin, but you look and feel good.
BUT, THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM…
Replacing protein asks a question: Which protein?
Cows and chickens and eggs? Or fish and clams and crabs?
Dr. Akins with his famous high protein diet never specified which protein, but he and his followers, being Westerners, presumed that cows and chickens and eggs were excellent.
We all know now that that diet is dangerous and dubious. You lose weight with the Adkins Diet, but you end up with heart attacks and strokes.
Not what you were thinking when you started three years ago. You are skinny in your hospital bed, but you are wondering: “Was it really worth it?”
Then, there is Eastern, better yet, Japanese Protein. Fish, clams, crabs and any creature that lives in the sea. As for veggies…Sea Weed and Tofu.
HOW CAN PROTEIN BE DIFFERENT?
Protein cannot be different! Protein is a scientific term that refers to molecules made of Amino Acids. All protein is made of Amino Acids.
And, Meat is not all protein!
WHAT DR. ADKINS IGNORED…
Dr. Akins and his followers ignored the fact that Meat obtained from Mammals and Birdies contain fat and cholesterol. That fat and cholesterol cannot be eliminated from the meat!
The fat and cholesterol exists between the cells and in the cells. Trimming is a waste of time. If you eat the meat of mammals and birdies you get a large quantity of fat and cholesterol.
The fat of mammals and birdies is necessary for these animals to survive. They need it as a storehouse of energy. Since these animals live on the surface of the Earth and not in the water, they can afford big fat molecules for energy.
Fish who live in the cold water cannot afford big fat molecules for energy. They must use molecules of oil which are slippery and slide easily in the cold water.
SO WHICH PROTEIN IS BETTER?
Let us look at how long people live… Go to Wikipedia “Life Expectancy”.
The Japanese and Northern Europeans are the winners. They live longer and look better. And they eat a lot of fish! Southern Europeans live long too.
Guess what? They eat very little meat and lots of fish.
Our cells need the Amino Acids of Proteins or they will die. Meat is a mixture of Amino Acids and Fat. The meat of cows and chickens has too much fat. The meat of fish has oil not fat.
Who lives the longest and looks the best?
The eaters of Fish!
