JAPANESE MAGIC MUSHROOMS

The Mushroom is an extremely popular product for consumption throughout Asia. Apart from its use as a food, most Asians attribute medicinal qualities to mushrooms.

This mindset has developed after millions of people have used mushrooms for thousands of years. An entire Civilization has concluded after about seven thousand years of experimentation that certain mushrooms provide medicinal benefits to people.

It is very difficult to refute the conclusions of billions of people who have used a product and found it valuable.

THE WEST FINDS MUSHROOM MEDICINE

We doctors in the West, think we know the most about medical treatment in the entire world. We have special drugs for treating immune disorders, cancers and even high cholesterol.

But, where did we get them? FROM MUSHROOMS!

Here is an abstract from Wikipedia:

Research which fungi has led to the discovery of new drugs, including penicillin, ciclosporin, griseofulvin, cephalosporin and ergometrine, as well as the popular statin class of anticholesterol drugs. Statins, like lovastatin and mevastatin were first isolated from different strains of fungi. Recent research has found lovastatin is present in the popular oyster mushroom,[4] mushrooms produce vitamin D when exposed to UV light,[5] and fungi are a potential source of taxol.[6] Currently, researchers are focusing on mushrooms that appear to offer anti-cancer and immune system enhancing activity, although studies with human subjects is quite limited

We can easily see that the Asian belief in the medicinal qualities of mushrooms has a foundation in reality, as many of modern Western medicines have been found in mushrooms.

JAPAN

The most popular Chinese Medicinal Mushroom is the CORDYCEPS, or mushroom which grows from the body of  a caterpillar or insect.

This mushroom is naturally found in Tibet, and was unknown in Japan. It is now being cultivated in laboratories in China, and this website hopes to present the dried form in the near future. The Japanese people found in their forests other mushrooms with similar medicinal qualities.

Japanese medicinal mushrooms include the following:

REISHI

CORRIOLUS

AGARICUS

MAITAKE

OYSTER

BENEFITS

All of their medicinal Mushrooms have similar benefits:

1. They stimulate the endocrine organs of the human body. The endocrine organs produce the hormones with which we are all familiar: Thyroid Hormones which allow us to be active, Adrenal Hormones which we use during stress, Pancreatic Hormones, Insulin, which we need to metabolize sugar, Sexual Hormones which are used for procreation.

2. They stimulate the Immune System, which is necessary to combat infection and cancers. The molecules that stimulate the endocrine organs and the immune system have evolved in mushrooms over millions of years as they fought off invaders of bacteria and viruses.

As we can see from the antibiotics that we produce from mushrooms or fungi, these molecules are used by the mushrooms to defeat the bacteria that constantly attack them. The stimulation of our immune system if we eat the mushrooms comes about from molecules that the mushrooms need to defend themselves.

Mushrooms have developed unique molecules for their self-defense and these same molecules can provide humans or other animals with similar defenses.

WHICH MUSHROOMS ARE BEST?

The Chinese and the Japanese have different preferences for mushrooms.

Without question, the Chinese think that CORDYCEPS is the most valuable mushroom.

In Japan, the REISHI has traditionally been the most popular mushroom with the MAITAKE following. In the last decade the AGARICUS, which originated in Brazil has found favor in the Japanese Medical Community, and it has been used extensively as a treatment for cancer.

AVAILABILITY

The mushrooms described above are very difficult to find. There are thousands of stores that offer these mushrooms in the form of capsules or liquids.

DO NOT BUY THEM!!! IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE MUSHROOM, DO NOT BUY! This website will soon sell Cordyceps and AGARICUS  from China as whole mushrooms!!

Unfortunately, it is very easy to say that a capsule or liquid is composed of something valuable. If you put in a tiny percent of the product, your advertisement is not false. But, no one states that the capsule or liquid contains ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the mushroom.

In China and Japan, no one is dumb enough to buy a mushroom they do not see. It is standard practice in Asia to show the mushroom through a window in the package or by selling the mushroom as a dried product.
