NOBEL PEACE PRIZE FOR JULIAN ASSANGE
The Nobel Peace Prize Committee has decided, now that Julian Assange is in jail, to award him the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to secure peace in the face of oppression. Just as they awarded the Chinese dissident, Liu Xiaobo, the Nobel Peace Prize while he was in a Chinese jail, they have concluded that the Australian dissident deserves the same treatment now that he is in a British jail.
The American Government, however, has lodged a formal complaint with the Government of Norway, advising them that such an award was totally unwarranted and that the American Government would not send a representative to the Award Ceremony. The Government of China has remained completely silent, but its Ambassador to Nigeria was heard laughing loudly when informed of the new award.
CNN will present a two hour special on Tuesday Evening Prime Time, explaining why some Nobel Prizes are good and some are bad. President Obama is expected to read from his teleprompters during this Special.
Julian Assange should be awarded Nobel peace prize, suggests Russian leader Vladamir Putin.
“The Americans keep saying they are a democracy.
What a joke!
The American government treats their citizens like children
who cannot read and should not read”
