CHICKENS AND AMERICANS
Sanford Pinna, M.D.
If you go to America this year of 2009, you
will see that most Americans are obese—from
moderately obese to grossly obese.
This is a remarkable change, from a population
that was normal in weight approximately 30 years
If you go into any American supermarket to
see what Americans eat, you will be surprised to
see that only one meat reigns supreme: Chicken.
CHICKEN CONSUMPTION USA 1910 TO 2006
One can see that the average American consumed
ten pounds of chicken in 1940-50 to sixty pounds of
chicken today. Every ten years another ten pounds!
Chicken has become the American soul food.
But, what about the chicken?
CHICKENS BECAME OBESE TOO
The chicken has decided to gain weight.
“The average live weight per broiler nearly doubled to 5.35 pounds from 1934 to 2004, and it reaches that weight in less time. ”
The chicken doubled its weight in 70 years!
This takes hundreds of thousands of years in nature.
The government says: “Breeding.”
What sort of breeding produces a fat chicken?
Breeding where estrogen hormone levels are
Humans and animals with high estrogen levels
accumulate fat more easily than normal animals
The breeders and chicken Money Managers
say they don’t give their chickens hormones.
They do not give their chickens injections
of hormones or put it in the chicken food. That
would cost extra money.
No, these Animal–Money Managers are smarter than that.
They have bred chickens which genetically produce large
quantities of female hormones.
Result: a big fat chicken.
Second result: Americans, who love fat,
especially if it is cheap, now eat six times as
much chicken as they did sixty years ago!
Third result: Fat Americans who can barely
walk, riding around in little electric carts, like
crippled victims of a war, in all the American stores.
Worse yet, sitting in their cars in the trillions
of “Drive Thru’s” throughout America, polluting
the air and waiting for their “FAST FAT- FRIED
Now you know how it happened
