The United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has released a statement that one third of all Americans, children through adults, males and females are obese. Obesity is found in babies, toddlers, and teenagers as well as all ages of adults. Further research shows that obesity is found in every country in the world. Since obesity is a universal phenomenon across the spectrum of the human species, there must be a common cause as well. If we look for a common cause, we ultimately do find one:
The basic cause of world wide obesity is: TECHNOLOGY! This requires an explanation, and it will be presented below.
HOW DOES TECHNOLOGY CAUSE OBESITY?
The cause of obesity lies in the equation of physics that explains how adipose tissue (fat) accumulates.
IF ENERGY IN IS GREATER THAN ENERGY OUT FAT ACCUMULATES (CALORIES IN > CALORIES OUT = EXCESS CALORIES — WHICH IS TRANSFORMED INTO FAT MOLECULES)
How does technology cause more calories in and less calories out? Humans, like all animals, are constantly confronted with tasks in order to survive. Humans, like all animals, instinctively try to conserve energy in every task they undertake. This follows the First Law of Thermodynamics, which states that every system in the Universe must conserve energy.
Because a small percentage of humans are intelligent enough to create and construct machines which use non-human forces such as electricity and gasoline to power motors which do the tasks that confront humans, all humans can do their tasks while expending less energy than without these tools. These tools and methods are collectively called: TECHNOLOGY.
WHEN MANKIND HAD NO TECHNOLOGY HE HAD NO OBESITY. ANIMALS HAVE NO TECHNOLOGY AND THEY ARE NEVER OBESE. IF INDIVIDUALS STOP USING TECHNOLOGY THEY WILL LOSE THEIR OBESITY.
TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE PREPARATION OF FOOD
Less than two centuries ago, there was very little technology used by humans and obesity was rare. I will now explain where the technology is used and how to avoid using it.
FAMILY MEAL PICTURE
A little over two centuries ago, all food was grown in farms, harvested and brought to market. There was very little technology employed. The people who bought these products had to prepare their meals by using their own muscles and their own energy. The preparation of a meal required an enormous amount of energy. Meat and vegetables and fruit had to be cleaned, cut and assembled and then cooked. Excess food had to be preserved in order not to spoil. Eating this food required going to a family table and sitting with others and using utensils which subsequently had to be cleaned and stored. Energy was used by the people preparing the meals, and, also, by the people consuming the meals since they had to walk to the dining room and help in the serving and cleaning.
MEAL PREPARATION TODAY
Technology has dramatically changed the preparation and consumption of food. Big business has entered the picture of food growth and preparation, because investors recognized that the public will pay for the pleasure of avoiding work. No longer are there small farms. The work of cultivation, harvesting and storage is undertaken by large corporations, which also genetically modify the plants they are growing to reduce the costs involved.
Today, people go into supermarkets where they find products almost totally prepared for consumption.
Every group of food products, from fruit to vegetables to meat, has been cleaned, cut and made ready for instant cooking or immediate eating.
THIS TECHNOLOGICAL PREPARATION REDUCES THE “CALORIES OUT” HALF OF THE EQUATION; THEREBY INCREASING FAT PRODUCTION.
If you are interested in reducing the fat in your body, DO NOT buy pre-prepared food products. Prepare them yourself! This may require avoiding super-markets.
“FAST FOOD” is an expression which evolved in the last thirty years, which describes a type of food which requires no energy to make, is generally very cheap, and requires very little energy to consume. It is found everywhere on the planet today. The purveyors or corporations that manufacture and sell these foods are gigantic trans-national corporations that steal hundreds of billions of dollars from a stupid public.
FAST FOOD is the first cause of obesity in the world today.
FAST FOOD is the epitome of technological invasion of food preparation.
FAST FOOD essentially eliminates the “Calories Out” half of the equation.
FAST FOOD increases, dramatically, the “Calories in” half of the equation.
Since the human specie, like all living species, obeys the laws of the Conservation of Energy, humans gravitate towards food which requires no work to consume. The advertising for this type of food is totally compelling to the unintelligent and uneducated public. The “stupid” part of the human race eats “Fast Food” like they breathe air — without thinking or stopping.
IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT,NEVER EAT ANY FAST FOOD! TYPE OF FOOD SOLD
The corporations that sell “Fast Food” and prepared foods, want to sell the cheapest food for the most money. The cheapest food is pure fat. Pure fat is normally discarded by human beings, or used as a means of frying. It is, normally, only eaten when people are extremely hungry. Such pure fat is found in the skin of birds or in the bodies of animals around the intestines and kidneys. “Chicken Wings” are the most popular form of pure fat eaten today. There are numerous chains of “Fast Food” restaurants which specialize in chicken wings. These restaurants are always full of “stupid” humans eating large quantities of chicken wings. A century ago, chicken wings were discarded by most humans as one of the most undesirable part of the chicken. Today, they are considered a delicacy. That is because TECHNOLOGY employed by Big Business presents this fat as a desirable food product. Fat appeals to the most primitive part of the human mind. It is desired when a person is starving. It provides very high calories, but no other nutrients.
FAT INCREASES THE FIRST PART OF THE EQUATION CREATING OBESITY.
If you want to lose weight avoid fat at all times! Never eat chicken wings or other types of pure fat!
HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP
Sugar is the next most common food sold by the giant corporations which are interested in selling a cheap product for a high price. Since the public wanted “sweet” products, the large corporations produced High Fructose Corn Syrup.
HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, was produced by the technological engineers in order to sell all types of sweet products to a “stupid” public.
GRAPH AND PICTURE OF HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP
High Fructose Corn Syrup, is manufactured using a long series of enzymes which turn corn into a liquid with a very sweet taste, a long shelf life and the capability to be incorporated into a limitless number of food products.
High Fructose Corn Syrup INCREASES fat cells and fat molecules faster than ordinary sugar. It does this by using the liver of the eater to produce triglyceride molecules which are quickly turned into fat molecules. In addition High Fructose Corn Syrup INCREASES the desire of the eater to eat more! Anyone who eats products containing High Fructose Corn Syrup is mentally unkempt and deserves to be fat and sick!
USING MACHINES FOR EVERYTHING
There are two parts to the equation which describes fat production. Calories In > Calories Out “Calories Out” is just as important as “Calories In.”
With the use of TECHNOLOGY humans are reducing the number of calories in the second part of the equation. One century ago, almost all tasks were accomplished using human energy. Transportation and movement was primarily a human or human and animal endeavor. People walked or used horses. Riding a horse was not as passive as driving a car. Farming was human labor intensive. Although horses and oxen were used to plow, the man behind the plow expended huge quantities of calories guiding the plow. Cooking was labor intensive. Cleansing, cutting, preparing food, from bread to vegetables was a process that required women to sweat over during the day. Cleaning was a task that required intensive labor. Washing and scrubbing clothes and floors required time and energy.
LABOR IS NO LONGER MANUAL
Today, TECHNOLOGY has taken over. Machines, electric and gas, assist humans in everything. Cutting grass, trimming hair, plowing land, chopping food — everything — has a machine that eliminates calories. This has gotten to such an extreme that people are refusing to walk!
SHOPPING CART FOR ? DISABLED? OR FAT AND LAZY…
OBESE MAN RIDING–NOT WALKING
We can see from this view of an electric cart that a person need not expend any calories even when shopping for food! A century ago these carts were not even a part of the fantasy world of humans. Today, they are commonplace in most supermarkets and large stores. The riders are supposed to be disabled. The vast majority of people riding these carts are not disabled, but, instead, are morbidly obese people becoming more morbidly obese. What we are witnessing is Technology as the tool of Big Business taking advantage of the weakness of the uneducated and pleasure loving majority who will sacrifice their income to have the pleasure of not using their energy and in the process becoming obese.
Workers no longer work. Technology, which increases productivity, has produced machines for every task. Grass cutters ride around on machines powered by electricity and cut the grass. Then using a machine powered by gasoline, they cut the weeds. With another machine powered by gasoline they blow away the clippings. Naturally, all these workers are obese. Men who have to pick up trash do not bend over to pick up the trash, they use a long instrument to grab the trash and throw it into a plastic bag. The machines pollute the atmosphere and the plastic bags pollute the ground and the worker pollutes the population by adding to those that are ill from obesity.
TECHNOLOGY, as an instrument in the process of deriving profits from human activities is producing global obesity.
TECHNOLOGY has changed the type, quantity and preparation of food. TECHNOLOGY has reduced the quantity of calories that humans expend to accomplish the tasks of living. Add this all up and it leads to Obesity. If you want to avoid obesity you must force yourself to avoid the charms of technology which seeks to subvert your natural desire to work by offering a food and machines that seem to be pleasant, but, in reality, are deadly.
