OBESITY IS WANING AS WE MOVE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA…

Those of us who eat in restaurants frequently have noticed a new phenomenon: there are more empty tables. The food that people order is less in quantity and lower in cost. This applies to fast food chains as well as to fancy uptown fine dining establishments.

The Servers have the answer: “They don’t have the cash. The tips are smaller. They drink “Wah Wah” instead of wine or cocktails. They box up every bit of left-over’s to be eaten tomorrow.

The super markets are not crowded. The good meat has doubled in price. Even veggies, all imported from South America, have risen in price by at least 20 percent. The lines are shorter and the baggers are no longer pressured to load up full carts.

Outside the entrances, there are always beggars. “Please give to this Unknown Organization to help the starving babies in Africa.” A photo of a staring African baby is pushed in your face. Everybody smiles and then lies that they gave yesterday.

THE PARKING LOTS

They are no longer full. People do not wait ten minutes to park 30 seconds closer to the door. The price of gas has doubled. They know that ten minute wait will cost them three dollars. They decide to walk 30 seconds more, although, instinctively, they don’t like expending energy when they could be sitting and talking to their friends on their cell phones.

On the highways, there are fewer cars. People no longer fill their tanks at the gas station. Put in a couple of bucks, drive only when you have to, and maybe you’ll be able to make it to next week.

More people are walking or driving bikes. “Heck, it’s only five minutes by foot from my house to the store. I’ll hoof it.”

The big monster cars with the petite female driver at the wheel are rapidly disappearing.

New tiny cars from South Korea and Japan are everywhere. Motor cycles with fat burly men, trying to look strong and verile, go noisily through the traffic, weaving in and out; their drivers trying to have that appearance of World War Two German Soldiers, with black boots, black helmets, and, unfortunately grey beards and big bellies, gun their motors to show the world they don’t care about the price of gas.

The Dry Cleaning establishments, all owned by Indians from India, have less clothing on their racks. The owners are no longer snobby. Now they say: “I can have it for you tomorrow. Is that all right?” Customers are getting churlish and demanding. “I need you to clean that spot. I think it’s ketchup.” “Of course, we will try,” is the smiling reply.

Many of the banks are almost empty. When you make a deposit, a lollypop comes out with your receipt. If you go inside, you are greeted quickly with a friendly smile and a “How can I help you today?”, not, “Sign in and sit down. I’ll get to you when I can—if I can…”

THE SIGNS OF A DYING ECONOMY

Everyday, Obama or a important leader of an economic watch group comes on T.V. and utters soothing words in a soothing voice with a serious look.

“We added 440,000 more jobs last month. It’s true, 77,000 were added by McDonalds, at the minimum wage with no benefits. But, McDonalds has produced many successful business leaders. Obama used to work for McDonalds and now he is President. That can happen to you too.”

After this supportive bit of advice comes a commercial about Term Life Insurance, where you can buy $500,000 worth of life for $23.00 a month … if you are young and healthy and have a good credit rating.

Then the news, with scenes of teenagers jumping up and down and screaming with joy at the news that Osama Bin Laden had been shot in the head and killed. Also, scenes of Obama congratulating the troops who did the killing.

“It was a great day for America,” he states proudly. “Al Queda is no longer a threat, thanks to your bravery in killing that monster.”

In London, Muslims parade before the U.S. Embassy with signs that say: “Your blood will mix with your tears.”

2011 IS A TURNING POINT

The reality of high unemployment and high prices for everything is sinking slowly into the minds of Americans and Europeans. They are all seeing the massive change in the economic morass of the world’s rich and the world’s poor.

The Western Middle Class is rapidly sinking down to the World’s Poor Class. This is the manifestation of the Economic Rip Tide.

The two billion sea animals who were feeding so ravenously in the shallow waters, with few predators and an abundance of food of every type, is now being dragged into the debts of the ocean where five billion other sea creatures are killing each other simply for survival.

As the water gets deeper the predators get larger. Sharks and Rays with enormous jaws and powerful fins and tails scoop up thousands of small fish with no effort.

These giant predators look like giant fish, but under their skins they have names like, “Shell Oil”, “Chevron” and “Exxon.” They grow mightier by the minute, exuding an infinite confidence as their profit numbers in the tens of billions, surface as bubbles from their mighty jaws.

The little fish can only pray to almighty God that they will not be eaten. But at the bottom of the ocean, the sheer numbers of little fish make survival an incessant task. Sleeping, eating and moving is always dangerous.

That Jelly Fish who looks attractive and benign, can poison you to death in a flash if you inadvertently enter his shroud.

That strange looking fish with a tempting ball of food dangling from a fishing pole extruding from his forehead will whip forward in milliseconds if you mistakenly try to eat the tempting ball of food.

Everywhere, every second, each little animal has a unique method to use you as food. This is the bottom of the ocean. This is the scene of true evolution. Survival here is a matter of chance and a high reproductive rate. The individual does not count. Species survive, not individuals.

That specie which can live long enough to reproduce in enormous numbers will end up as “Non-Extinct.”

“Non-Extinct” is a positive attribute. “Extinction” is the norm. “Non-Extinction” is the rarity.

Chose your friends, your society and your location on this planet carefully. Keep your mind clean and strong and unfettered by the Verbal Narcotics thrown into the water by the Power Groups. Your chance of growth, and, more importantly, of survival, will make a quantum leap upwards.
