RUNAWAY GLOBAL WARMING
In Metaphysics, there is a branch of philosophy called “DETERMINISM.” This belief states that all events in the Universe are determined by the laws of the universe and cannot and will not be changed. (When I was 17 years old, and a new member of the U.S. Marine Corps, I decided that Determinism was true.)
In our Solar System, there is another planet called Venus, which is similar in size and mass as the planet Earth: Venus.
Venus is extremely hot and this heat, according to scientific theory, is the result of Runaway Global Warming.

Studies have suggested that several billion years ago Venus’s atmosphere was much more like Earth’s than it is now, and that there were probably substantial quantities of liquid water on the surface, but a runaway greenhouse effect was caused by the evaporation of that original water, which generated a critical level of greenhouse gases in its atmosphere.[34]
It is to be noted that the theorists maintain that the cause of the Greenhouse Effect is not what we are presently concerned about, the gas CO2, but, instead, H2O in the form of Water Vapor.
There are many other gases that produce the Greenhouse Effect apart from CO2 and H2O, as pointed out in Wikipedia.

The ability to retain heat varies with the structure of each molecule.
HOW THE GREENHOUSE WORKS
Any greenhouse, whether made of glass or made of gases works exactly the same.
The Sun’s rays arrive at Earth in the form of very high frequency and very short wave lengths.
These waves pass through the atmosphere easily and get absorbed by the surface of the Earth.
Heat is emitted at the Earth’s surface. This heat is then radiated outwards towards space in the form of long waves, called Infra Red Rays.
The Infra-red rays are easily stopped because they are long and they interact with gasses or with glass, producing heat. This heat is then retained within the atmosphere, in the case of gasses or within a glass enclosure, if it is a simple glass Greenhouse.
Heat is a term which reflects the movement of atoms or molecules. The more movement, the more heat. We can see that from electromagnetic waves such as light we produce heat.
WHAT CAUSED THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT ON VENUS?
It is theorized that Venus once had oceans like the Earth. Now, those oceans are vaporized and make up a large part of Venus’ atmosphere.
It is also theorized that this event occurred rapidly.
No one knows if Venus had living beings such as humans who were burning hydrocarbons. It is sufficient to postulate that enough water vaporized to accelerate heating of the planet and increased water vaporization until the planet became as hot as it presently is.
There is no reason why this same process could not occur on the Earth except for the difference in the distance from the Sun.
HOW WOULD RUNAWAY GLOBAL WARMING OCCUR ON THE EARTH?
On the earth we have enormous quantities of Carbon and Oxygen and Hydrogen.
These elements are found in the following molecules: CO2,H2O, HYDRO-CARBONS (PLANT MADE MOLECULES) and CARBONATES (ROCKS USED FOR CEMENT)
We, thus, have the ingredients to create the Greenhouse Effect.
THE CATALYST
We need an agent to mix these molecules. When an agent speeds up a chemical reaction, that agent is called a Catalyst.
The Catalyst is Human Beings. Human Beings burn Hydro-Carbons, break down carbonate rock to make cement and cut down forests where CO2 is normally stored.
The CO2 initiates the Runaway Global Warming.
The CO2 is normally stored in the forests and the oceans. When the forests are gone and the ocean is saturated with CO2, the CO2 is forced into the atmosphere.
The addition of CO2 in the atmosphere increases the temperature of the planet Earth. Water increases its rate of evaporation, and also increases the temperature of the Earth. The CO2 and H2O compliment each other and a parabolic curve of increased temperature starts.
A Parabolic Curve occurs frequently in nature. The curve represents the increased doubling of the event being observed. As we know from mathematics, when a number is constantly doubled, it suddenly reaches enormous quantities.
Bacteria and other living creatures are constantly reproducing in the fashion of a Parabolic Curve.
If you place bacteria on a laboratory dish filled with nutrients, you can watch the bacteria double in number until they fill the dish, exhaust the nutrients and then suddenly die.
The “bacterial growth in batch culture” can be modeled with four different phases: lag phase (A), exponential or log phase (B), stationary phase (C), and death phase (D).
The “Log” phase represented above is in the form of a Parabolic Curve. We can say that the events occur with tremendous velocity.
Therefore, the temperature on the Earth rises rapidly and finally extinguishes all life on the planet.
However, although the humans are now gone, once started, this process must continue. The Planet Earth will, like the Planet Venus, reach an extreme heat and all its water will be evaporated and be found in its cloud cover.
This is, from the point of view of Terrestrial humans, an extreme event. However, from the point of view of the Universe, it is probably a frequent event.
If, in our tiny Solar System, we can see one planet which has passed through Runaway.
Global Warming, and we can imagine that it could happen on the Earth; it doesn’t require a vivid imagination to think that in the trillions of planets in the universe this event is occurring routinely.
IS THERE EVIDENCE OF RUNAWAY GLOBAL WARMING?
One need only to fly over the Earth or to look at Google scenes of the Earth from satellites to see the vast urban areas covered with concrete which has released gigatons of CO2 and which are immense sources of electrically generated heat; or to notice the almost complete loss of forest, that, less than one thousand years ago, covered the entire planet, to appreciate how rapidly humans are progressing towards their own destruction.
ACIDIFICATION OF THE EARTH
When the two gases CO2 and H2O in the form of water vapor are present in solution in the air, a chemical reaction takes place: CO2 + H20 = H2CO3
H2C03 disassociates into H+HCO3- this is CARBONIC ACID.
It is acidifying the oceans and the land masses of the Earth. It is killing marine and plant life. The Earth is rapidly becoming a barren planet.
This further evidence of the speed of Global Warming.
GLACIERS AND ICE SHEETS ARE MELTING FASTER EVERY DAY
Scientists who monitor ice, in its various forms, are reporting daily that the ice is melting everywhere: from the North Pole, Greenland, in the highest mountains and in the Antarctic.
DETERMINISM TAKES OVER
Earth have nothing to do with the emotions of the humans that inhabit this planet.
We can only experience life. We cannot control it.
We are made of atoms and molecules like the trees and the stones and the other solid entities of the universe. Our bodies obey the Laws of the Universe. Our Conscious Experience plays a very passive role in our personal events and the events around us.
