SOCIAL MEDIA EQUALS SOCIAL CHANGE
Something that did not exist as a functioning entity less than 10 years ago, is today, rapidly changing society across the world.
The power of Social Media is most evident in the Middle East, where dictators supported by the Major Oil Cartels and the richest countries of the world, are now toppling after having complete control of their populations for as long as four decades. The governments that have supported these dictators do not know which way to turn.
Everywhere in the world, with the exception of China and a few other open dictatorships, governments have been deluding their citizens with the enormous lie that they are “Democracies” and that the “People Rule.”
The people never ruled. The rulers were, and still are, the giant international corporations, and the wealthy aristocracy. However, every human on this planet believes that the people, not giant international corporations, or wealthy families should rule.
The people believe, and for the last century, the governments have supported this belief, that each individual has a vote. They also believe that the majority of those votes determines who and how every government should exist.
Of course, in the Middle East, dictatorship has been openly overlooked. In addition, dictators were given billions of dollars yearly and they were also given military aid and equipment.
The U.S. and its allies ignored the fact that it was saying “democracy” to its citizens and yet supported dictatorship wherever and whenever it was convenient. Now, the U.S. and its allies are confounded by the fact that hundreds of millions of young people in the Middle East want their vote!
The Traditional Governments of the West cannot say: “Yes, you are free. You have a vote.” but, “Your dictator has the only vote that counts.”
This is exactly what transpired in North Africa and the Middle East in 2011. What happened?
SOCIAL MEDIA ENTERS THE SCENE
Social Media is a technological miracle. It gives every person in the world the ability to express himself to every other person in the world.
In a micro-second, anyone can vote or voice an opinion! Instead of going to governmentally controlled newspapers, television channels or radios, one needs to only open Twitter or Facebook or any one of dozens of media sites and express their ideas.
This instant communication between the entire population of the world is now destroying Traditional Governments with all their built-in hierarchies of power.
TRADITIONAL GOVERNMENTS
Traditional Governments are the result of an evolution from family to tribe to kingdom and then to United Kingdoms.
The underlying power of Traditional Governments has not changed for centuries. The same rich families rule today as they did hundreds of years ago. Their modus operandi has only changed the wording. The wording was: “I am King and I rule.” Today, it is: “You are King, but I rule.”
To enter Traditional Government one needs a passport. That passport could be your family or our membership in a political party.
FAMILY MEMBER
If you are part of a wealthy family, your parents will indoctrinate you into the rules of the club. You will be sent to special schools and receive special honors and become part of the Traditional Government.
Those who doubt this, need only look in Wikipedia and see where almost all U.S. Presidents get their higher education.
A member of a wealthy family will learn about all the different lies that Traditional Governments tell their people, and how to give speeches without twisting his or her mouth.
If a member of a wealthy family doesn’t like working as a member of government, there is always a second choice. That choice resides in becoming a part of a large corporation, and becoming the link to the Traditional Government.
Doubters need only to look at the politicians in the U.S: the Bush Family, the Clinton Family, the Rockefeller Family, etc., etc. Then look at the major businesses, especially financial businesses. Newscorp is an excellent example. Rupert Murdoch is the founder, but both his son and daughter will run that company at his demise.
BEING A POLITICAL PARTY MEMBER
If you are not a member of the Aristocracy, you can still become a member of the ruling class. Once in the ruling class you will have power, prestige and wealth for your entire life. The people have no way of ridding themselves of your presence. Your children will then become part of the Aristocracy.
Anyone who doubts this should simply look at the members of the House of Representatives or the Senate if they are Americans; or, in their own parliament if they live in other countries. They will see that “representatives” are there for decades—or, if not re-elected, remain as a member of their Political Party.
Getting into a political party is not easy. The best way is through family connections. If you come in through the front door, it becomes very competitive, but ultimately, with persistence, you will win. Then you will be part of the Establishment (read Royalty) and you and your heirs will always have wealth and power.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
This digression into the manner in which modern governments are chosen was presented to enlighten the reader into understanding that there are no Democratic Governments in the world today.
There are out and out Kingdoms such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordon and Syria, or dictatorships such as Venezuela, China and most Middle Eastern countries or Fake Democracies, such as the rest of the world.
BUT THE PEOPLE WANT REAL DEMOCRACY
Every human has an innate desire to be free in the sense that their vote is counted and not ignored. The human population wants to live in a truly democratic form of government, where the leaders are elected by the people, not secretly determined by a permanent hierarchy of the rich and powerful.
At the moment, across the world, this desire is not ignored, but subverted by the political aristocracy or by dictatorship.
The Political Parties have understood the universal desire for freedom for the last century. They have indoctrinated their citizens into believing that such freedom exists.
It obviously does not exist or the political parties would disappear every few years.
In every democratic country the same political parties control the electorate since the days of royalty. Their ability to maintain control of so called democratic countries lies in the Party System. Does the voter have freedom when a small group chooses for whom he votes?
Obviously, not.
HOW THE SOCIAL MEDIA IS CHANGING SOCIAL POWER
The revolutions in the Middle East are dominated by the presence of the social media. These revolutions could not occur without instant communication.
In the U.S., in the last few years, a group called the Tea Party has emerged as a powerful political player. Their presence is totally due to the instant communications of the Social Media.
People are voicing their political opinions, as I am here, through the use of Social Media, which is supported by the Internet.
BUSINESS IS AWARE
Whether you turn to traditional sources of information, such as television or newspapers, or to the internet itself, there are constant queries.
COMMENT! DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE? WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?
These questions are everywhere. Business is frightened. They want their profits. They want the public to like their products and ideas.
Western governments are not yet responding. Western rulers still believe that their power is immutable. But that power is waning rapidly.
The people of the world—especially the young people—are talking to each other. Their voice will be heard and obeyed.
PREDICTION: WE WILL HAVE ELECTIONS VIA THE INTERNET WITHIN TEN YEARS!
