THE DRYING EARTH – WILDFIRES IN EUROPE

Descriptions of Global Warming tell of ice melting and raising sea levels at the end of the 21st. Century. Those descriptions are illusions. Global Warming is here, right now! It is not ice melting, but air drying and expanding.

Global Warming is Drought and Wild Fires!

WILDFIRES IN SOUTHERN EUROPE

We read of wild fires erupting across all of Southern Europe.

Southern Spain, Southern France, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Italy and Greece are all fighting blazes.

This has never happened before to this degree.

HISTORY OF WORLD WILDFIRES

The above graph shows the increase in wildfires worldwide. If you compare the beginning of this graph with the end you will see a steady increase of approximately fifty percent. This is not due to chance. It is a reflection of the increased heat energy on the planet.

As energy is added to the atmosphere, the air expands. This expansion means that less water vapor can coelesce and form rain drops. The result is drought. With drought comes the drying and dying of vegetation. With the drying of vegetation, especially trees, comes wildfires.

We can see the inevitable rise in the numbers of wildfires everywhere on the planet. Wildfires add to the mean temperature of the planet. They are worse than the accumulation of CO2 because their effect is immediate.

ENDING WILDFIRES

Ending wildfires requires the planting of trees in those areas of the world where they can grow. Those areas which still are wet. These areas still exist in the equatorial belt, but they are being depleted rapidly by commercial forces.

PLANTING TREES

planting trees

If enough trees can be planted, not only will they absorb CO2, but they will also absorb heat as they build new hydrocarbon molecules.

Planting trees is a necessity. Reducing green house gasses is needed, but it will be insufficient. A combined effort of increasing vegetation with reducing heat in all forms can stop the Drying Earth and reduce wildfires.

THE DRYINGEARTH.ORG

I have established the dryingearth.org as a means of collecting funds for the planting of trees in areas of the earth where there is still sufficient rainfall for their growth.

Naturally, this is simply a gesture. What is needed is an understanding by the world population that the planet will soon be uninhabitable because of drought which will destroy agriculture and wildfires which will increase world temperature.

Thinking about it will do nothing. We must act!
