TRUTH–”BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL”

I believe that all humans, because we are descended from a Divine and Perfect God, recognize Truth instantly, whether they are educated or uneducated, intelligent or unintelligent, literate or illiterate.

It is not a matter of Religion or philosophical beliefs that have been instilled in us by our parents, our society or our governments.

It is not our genetic endowment which makes us different from the animals around us, rather it is our Soul which recognizes Truth.

Our Soul, a part of the perfect Spiritual Universe, finds that Truth fits that Spiritual Universe and tells us: “That is Truth! Believe it!”

This belief about Truth being Divine is not my belief alone. Throughout history all great minds have reflected on Truth and have come to an identical conclusion.

ANCIENT GREEK PHILOSOPHERS

The Ancient Greeks were the most intelligent humans that ever existed on this planet. Their writings are the most formidable feats of reason that I have ever read.

Euclid, alone on a Greek island, formulated all the Laws of Geometry three thousand years ago. Without a computer, or a slide ruler, or an adding machine. Only with his mind, and the Recognition of The Truth!

Aristotle and Plato were the greatest Greek Philosophers. They both commented on the concept of Truth.

Aristotle stated: “To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true”. Aristotle’s belief in Truth was pragmatic.

HINDU PHILOSOPHY

In Hindu philosophy, Truth was tied to duty to others: “When one is firmly established in speaking truth, the fruits of action become subservient to him ( patanjali yogasutras, sutra number 2.36)”

ISLAM

In Islamic philosophy, Ibn Sina, Avicenna, states that truth is that property which has been established in anything, presumably by God.

Avicenna elaborated on his definition of truth in his Metaphysics Book Eight, Chapter 6: The truth of a thing is the property of the being of each thing which has been established in it.

THOMAS AQUINAS

Thomas Aquinas, the Catholic philosopher, maintained that Truth was part of God. Aquinas also said that real things participate in the act of being of the Creator God who is Subsistent Being, Intelligence, and Truth.

SOREN KIEKEGAARD

Soren Kiekegaard, the founder of Modern Philosophy, called Existentialism, said this: “Human truth is something that is continually occurring, and a human being cannot find truth separate from the subjective experience of one’s own existing, defined by the values and fundamental essence that consist of one’s way of life.”

What Kiekegaard means, is that one has to be alive (one’s own existing) in order to experience truth.

FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE

Friedrich Nietzsche, a very popular modern philosopher, tied truth to the preservation of the species. Most people think of Nietzsche as an Iconoclast, but he was not.

The question is to what extent it is life-advancing, life-preserving, species-preserving, perhaps even species-breeding…” (aphorism 4). He proposed the will to power as a truth only because according to him it was the most life affirming and sincere perspective one could have

LIES OR “NON-TRUTHS”

Unfortunately, many humans are not interested in proclaiming Truth to others. Many people would like to deceive others by professing that LIES are Truth.

Their motivation for doing this is what Nietzsche and others call “EVIL.” Within all human beings there are two forces fighting each other.

GOOD AND EVIL

Nietzsche wrote an entire book on just this argument, entitled: BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL.

Here is a description of Beyond Good and Evil from Wikipedia:

“In Beyond Good and Evil, Nietzsche accuses past philosophers of lacking critical sense and blindly accepting Judeo-Christian premises in their consideration of morality. The work moves into the realm “beyond good and evil” in the sense of leaving behind the traditional morality which Nietzsche subjects to a destructive critique in favour of what he regards as an affirmative approach that fearlessly confronts the perspectival nature of knowledge and the perilous condition of the modern individual.”

Nietzsche was not the first, nor the only philosopher, to note that many humans, perhaps all humans, lie in order to get what they think will be beneficial to themselves.

In the Christian Bible we note that one of Christ’s disciples lied to Christ in order to get bars of silver. This was Judas, and, he was punished.

However, Nietzsche in a very transcendental moment of his book, Beyond Good and Evil, made the following conjecture…

In a prophetic statement, Nietzsche proclaims that “The time for petty politics is past: the very next century will bring with it the struggle for mastery over the whole earth”

This statement was written in 1886! Today, 125 years later, we are seeing the reality of Nietzsche’s wisdom. We are seeing the West fall as the East rises to completely dominate the planet.

GOOD AND EVIL

We can easily understand “Good and Evil” as simply a description of those who “Tell the Truth” and “Those who lie.” Those who tell the Truth are Good. Those who lie are Evil.

The Truth is self evident to every human, therefore, those who lie must use a form of deception in order to persuade others to believe the lies. However, in our Modern Society, filled with billions of humans, with every variance of genetic endowment and every form of education, lying becomes an easy task.

Especially lying by governments and big businesses. Governments and Big Businesses have the wealth to hire the most expert liars in the world!

This is crucial for the individual to realize. These expert liars are scientists! They are psychologists and nutritionists and chemists and specialists in human behavior and sociologists who know the likes and dislikes of every group of people on the planet. They are also Medical Doctors or “Healers” who use deception to increase their wealth.

Attached to these scientists are writers and actors. The scientists present the facts to the writers. The writers write scripts for the actors. Producers and Directors put the entire scenario onto film, or whatever medium is necessary, and the presentation goes before a naive public; that is, you and I.

The Media directors then take over. The Presentation is performed on Television, on Stage, at Press Conferences, at Economic Forums or Scientific Forums, and the results are then promulgated to the public.

It comes before the public as News Reports in Newspapers, and today, on the Internet.

You and I, when we watch these apparently honest people declare that “X is Y” may instantly believe it. How could such an honest looking man or woman lie?

Easily!

With the high monetary rewards for deception we see liars everywhere.

I see many, supposedly, concerned doctors of medicine, lying daily in order to sell useless products to an ignorant public.

The public is ignorant because the complexity of modern science is beyond the comprehension of the lay person.

If a doctor of medicine tells the public that a particular molecule is important for health, many will buy that molecule in the form of a supplement, hoping for improved health, but in reality simply making the doctor richer.

In politics and economics the same methodology is used. Politicians and “Economic Experts” will stand up in highly exposed gatherings and declare that countries must give billions of Dollars or Euros or Pounds to groups of banks or financial institutions to “Save the Public” or “Save the Economy.”

This pernicious type of lying is everywhere in the world today. It is in Europe, the U.S.A., the countries of the Middle East, in Africa, in Latin America, in the Islands of the Pacific and in all the Asian Countries.

The Asian countries are gaining ascendancy in the economic and military spheres, not because they do not lie, but because they are stronger in terms of their productivity and engineering.

The countries of Asia, in particular, China, are like the Romans of two thousand years ago: They are strong because they work as well organized teams, with good leadership and superb marketing.

The Roman legionnaires were excellent warriors because they fought side by side, and whenever a legionnaire fell, his place was instantly filled by his comrades, who never stopped fighting.

The Roman Generals saw the world of that day, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, from the perspective of the highest peak in the Alps. They knew where they were going and what awaited their Legions in all areas.

Modern Asians have the same perspective of today’s world.

GOOD AND EVIL IN THE NEAR FUTURE

In spite of the fact that each of us can recognize the truth instantly, because the modern world is so complex, and because evil people in the form of governments or large companies have such armies of persuasive technicians who know what to say and how to say it, we all have been deluded time after time and have been robbed because of these delusions.

There really is no way out of this modern day warfare. We can only protect ourselves and our property, by recognizing that the enemy is very powerful.

Try to take a long pause before you do anything of importance. Ask yourself one question: Is this True? Your mind and body will give you an instant answer.
