HOW ABOUT AN ASIAN FOR A CHANGE?
Now that the Frenchman is in jail for trying to rape a chamber maid, the world has to look for a replacement to lead the IMF.
The leaders of the IMF have been either Americans or Europeans. But “International” means “International” and the biggest players on the Planet today live in Asia.
WHAT IS THE IMF?
The IMF is, basically, a spigot of money. When a country is in trouble, the IMF pours money on it, and then tells it how to behave.
But nothing works that easily. Most economic problems have deep roots, and a few cups of money wont save a country.
Historically, the IMF has caused more harm than good. In Latin America, many poor small countries, haVE been ruined by the IMF as they pushed European standards on people who have been accustomed for centuries of doing things “Manana.”
WHAT DOES THE IMF DO?
When a country has a problem paying its debts (think Greece) the IMF and other lending institutions lends money for relatively short periods of time up to seven years.
Supposedly, the money comes from member countries…But, in reality, it comes from giant banks.
The IMF is a conduit for banks to sell bonds and make a profit. The profit is guaranteed by the sovereign nations which make up the IMF. The IMF is a charade designed to mislead the tax payers of the wealthy countries.
WHAT IF AN ASIAN IS CHOSEN TO HEAD THE IMF?
There is a strong probability that the new leader of the IMF will be an Asian. If an Asian takes over, the modus operandi of the IMF will change.
Asians manufacture goods with cheap labor and sell those goods to wealthy countries. Asian countries want European countries to spend more and buy more of their products.
“Austerity” is a bad word for an Asian economic leader. If an Asian takes over, debtor countries will get more cash, they will buy more goods and the future will be pushed back another decade.
The German and other European banks will tell their governments to raise taxes and pay off the “bad” bonds.
No matter who is in charge, the workers will have to work harder so that the Money Power Groups can get richer.
