WHY WOULD A RICH MAN WANT TO BE PRESIDENT?

Romney never intended to be president. He had to repay favors to the Elitists who run this country and made him rich.
Romney has picked Paul Ryan as a running mate.
Can two educated rich white men beat an African-American when the population is poor, uneducated and angry about the rich white people? I doubt it. But, I may be wrong…

I have been perplexed about this question for the last six months. Maybe the readers can help me?
Everyone knows that the life of the President of the USA must be horrendous. The President is a prisoner of his staff, his guards and the entire world. Once president, he can never ever escape until he dies.
Whatever happens to the USA will be blamed on him. All his children and his wife’s relatives will live in infamy forever if anything goes wrong, and they will live in notoriety forever whether things go bad or good. The man who becomes president is essentially committing personal and familial suicide.
And, of course, this is well understood by every candidate, including Dr. Ron Paul, M.D., a dedicated and extremely intelligent physician.
Not only do all these men already have more money than they will ever need, they also are all famous in their own right.
Becoming President may easily reduce their popularity and make them into possible candidates for abuse and ridicule for themselves and all their forbearers. To this very day, people of the world look upon former President Richard Nixon as a pariah. He is dead, but his name will bring forth critics and defamers who will talk endlessly about his misdeeds.
Assuming that the candidate does the best job in the history of American politics and turns the USA into the envy of the world, so what? Would you want people screaming your name as a hero every moment you appear in public? Until you die? I think not, unless you happen to be schizophrenic.
IS IT AN ADDICTION?
Many people are addicted to many different things. Could these men be addicted to constant photograph lights flashing in their faces? Do they want lines of people standing ready and eager to shake their hands?
Their hands would be totally deformed before they reach sixty. (Although Dr. Paul is 77 already.)
MAYBE IT IS A PLOT?
Could the forces that run the USA be forcing these men to make speeches and beg for money and appear on television programs day and night?
Could they have told them: “We will kill your wife and children and even your grandchildren unless you run for President and really look like you mean it?
After all, the biggest farce in the USA is that it is a democracy. Only uneducated people believe that the few candidates that are chosen are the only men in the 350 million population who have the ability to run the country.
I DO NOT KNOW!
Maybe a brilliant social scientist will come up with the answer to this conundrum. I certainly do not know!
